Auntie Barbara was a lovely kind Auntie to me growing up as a young girl. My father, brother and myself enjoyed many weekend visits to her home in Plymouth. I will always have such fond memories of Auntie Barbara, she and my uncle Mac, my three cousins-Julie, Neil and Tracey and not forgetting the very special much loved family pet dog -Chummy. The whole family always made us feel welcomed. I especially remember the delicious wholesome food Auntie Barbara would cook, we all sat around a large dining table and enjoyed our meals together, her cooked breakfasts were always amazing, of which my brother and I would frequently talk about for years to come! Auntie Barbara and Uncle Mac and my three cousins showed me just how family life should be as a child, there was love, kindness, warmth and a real strong sense of togetherness as a family which remained a constant over many decades. Auntie Barbara was a truly unique lady in many ways, to me she will always be remembered as a legendary Auntie who made such an impression on me as a young girl growing up. Rest in peace dearest Auntie Barbara.
